About Joy Tones
Wellness, with room for wonder.
A meeting place for sound, creativity and human connection.

Meet Mia
A personal invitation to reconnect.
Music has always been at the heart of my life, but my journey has taught me that music can do so much more than entertain—it can help us breathe a little deeper, feel a little lighter, and reconnect with ourselves.
I’m the founder of Joy Tones, where arts and wellness come together through music, movement, mindfulness, creativity, and sound. My mission is simple: to create welcoming spaces where people of all ages can experience calm, confidence, connection, and joy.
As a professional singer-songwriter, music educator, certified yoga instructor, sound healing facilitator, and meditation teacher, I’ve spent years exploring the many ways creativity supports emotional well-being. My work brings together crystal singing bowls, gentle movement, breathwork, vocal toning, guided meditation, rhythm, art, and play to create experiences that nurture both the body and the mind.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, families, schools, seniors, wellness studios, spas, libraries, community organizations, and corporate groups. Whether I’m leading a toddler music class, facilitating a restorative sound immersion, or guiding a classroom through a six-week wellness program, my goal is always the same—to help people feel safe, seen, and connected.
My own path hasn’t always been easy. Like many people, I’ve experienced seasons of change, uncertainty, and personal growth. During those times, I discovered how profoundly music, mindfulness, movement, and the healing power of the voice could support emotional resilience. Those experiences shaped not only who I am, but also the way I teach. They remind me that everyone carries an invisible story, and that kindness, creativity, and moments of stillness can make a meaningful difference.
Today, Joy Tones reflects everything I love most: the wonder of childhood, the restorative power of sound, the joy of singing, and the belief that wellness should feel approachable, inclusive, and deeply human.
Whether you’re joining a children’s program, attending an evening sound immersion, inviting me into your school, wellness space or workplace, or simply listening online, my hope is that you leave feeling a little more grounded, a little more connected, and a little more yourself.
Thank you for being here.
I look forward to sharing this journey with you.
